This show marked the Lips' second appearance at Bonnaroo and their fourth UFO Show. In addition, it was the first outdoor laser show. Their set featured the first performance of "Mountain Side" since 1996 and the debut of their Rolling Stones "Moonlight Mile" cover, as well as a rare recent performance of "What Is The Light?" and "The Observer." "War Pigs" was performed as a "soundcheck" forty minutes prior to the start of the proper performance.
