Prescription: Love
Wayne and Michael's quotes from The Bob:
Wayne: Yeah, it has that long beginning to it. That was another thing where we had these bits - 'That sounds cool, what do we do with it?' - so we stuck 'em together.
Michael: It's that whole idea, this marketing scam thing. We were listening to the radio, you know how you get these car ads, car polish and shit.
Wayne: It was Bon Jovi getting huge at the time. Who gives a damn about Bon Jovi; they sound like ten million other records!
Michael: The whoile marketing thing, just tie that together with how people like their cars more than people. Even records - if they have a big marketing budget they go over great!
Wayne: Like Coca-Cola - if you could market anything as much, put that in as many places. Do you go a day without seeing that? . . . Well, if they could market anything, with billions of dollars and time on it, why wouldn't they market 'love' like a viable produce? 'Love is the answer!'
Michael: A simplified way of loking at it, but it is - live IS the answer when it comes down to it.
Wayne: People that don't have something, they'll do drugs or buy new cars, or just flip out.
Michael: It's all just a symptom of life. It sounds very hokey, but if people could just go around shaking hands, things would be a lot better. No shooting guns at people.
Wayne: Or no committing suicide so much. It's kind of an idealistic thing to think.
Michael: But we had to throw it in somewhere to get that crowd!

I've been wandering for quite a while
When it seems like love is all around
Seems when people can't get love
They substitute it with a bunch of drugs
If love was a drug that was real cheap
Everybody could get some sleep
I've been wandering for quite a while
When it seems like love is all around
Seems when love don't get too far
They buy a real expensive car
If love was a car that was real cheap
Everybody could get some sleep
Let's give love the marketing scam
Let's give love the marketing scam
Make it something they can understand
Let's give love the marketing scam
Let's give love the marketing scam
And get on with it
I've been wandering for quite a while
When it seems like love is all around
Seems when people don't have nobody
They spend their time makin' lots of money
If love was money and it was cheap
Everybody could get some sleep
Let's give love the marketing scam
Let's give love the marketing scam
Make it something they can understand
Let's give love the marketing scam
Let's give love the marketing scam
And get on with it
